My love for healing started back in 2008 when I first learned Reiki (Universal Life Force Healing). Receiving my first attunements to Reiki from a Japanese Reiki master, led me on a journey to discover more and more about it. So, I started researching all I could and looking for other places to help me learn. I discovered the healing circles and spiritual churches and whilst attending a Psychic Fair, I found my crystal healing teacher Kim.

Crystal Healing Course

My first crystal healing course was a real eye-opener. I learned so much about the crystals and how they work energetically. We were shown where to place them on the body and how to use our Reiki energy healing to activate them and activate their healing properties. This weekend course helped me immensely because I found my true connection and passion to work with crystals there. My gift is intuitively choosing which crystals are needed and where. Placing the crystals on the chakras and positions of the body that called to us. After the healing session, we looked up the meanings.  As a result, we discovered the crystals chosen were always exactly what the person needed in their life and placed on the right chakra for healing.

Sharing my Crystal Knowledge with others.

Wanting to help others learn more about crystals I also created my own Crystal Basics course teaching people about 50 crystals and their properties. Throughout the day I would also share my personal experiences I had with each crystal. Passing around each crystal to everyone in the class, so they can see and feel it for themselves. Allowing them to see and feel the small differences between each crystal. During the class, we introduced the many different varieties of agates, jaspers, calcites and more. Letting them feel the crystals for themselves allowed them to identify the energy associated with each.

Placing the Crystals on the Body.

Teaching the healing process and placing the crystals on the body were shown during my 2nd course. Participants were introduced to 30 additional crystals and different healing methods were also taught. Everyone was invited to trust their intuition. A volunteer from the class would be the client, so they would lie on the healing bed. The others were given access to my crystal case and asked to choose 2 or 3 crystals to place on the client where they were drawn to. They also loved doing this because it excited them to see that they chose correctly. Each person chose crystals that were really relevant for the person receiving the healing, especially when we read each crystal and why they placed it at each point. Therefore, it was so easy to empower them to trust their instincts and worry about why they needed it after the healing session.

Balancing the Chakras.

Simply, place the crystals on the chakra points of the body and the energy from the crystal combined with Reiki balances the relevant chakra. No set number of crystals are used during the process. Some clients only need 1 or 2 for each chakra and others may have up to ten depending on how deep a healing is required. I learned to trust the guidance I received in regards to the crystals because they always connected with the client. Finally, at the end of the healing, I would sit with the client and describe the properties of the crystals that were used. I would also pass along all feelings and messages received during healing.

Crystal healing for yourself.

The most common question asked is – Can you do crystal healing and chakra balancing for yourself? Yes, of course, you can. First of all, you will need a set of chakra crystals – whatever you feel drawn to. The number of crystals is a personal choice but you will need at least 1 per chakra.  Lie on your bed, get comfortable and place the crystals on each chakra centre or next to your body on the bed. Call forth your healing angels to come and assist you with this healing session. A deep meditation will occur, you can do this with a guided meditation or just music. It is easy as visualising the chakras turning and clearing themselves. The chakras rotate clockwise and then anti-clockwise alternatively down the body. Picture this in your mind or say out loud that you are clearing and energising each chakra in turn.

Can you do it wrong?

In my experience, there is no real right or wrong way to do this. Trust your instincts of where to place the crystals and allow them to do their work. As long as your intention is pure of heart, and you bring down the healing light energy you are going to re-energise and heal the body. Yes, you will need to learn about the crystals and there are many reference books available. I recommend the Crystal Bible series by Judy Hall. Along with some education and training in Reiki or Energy Healing, you are able to do this for yourself and others. There are many options to receive the attunements and lots of reference material available for Reiki and Energy Healing. You choose what works best for you. Furthermore, I strongly recommended that you get your Attunements from a reputable teacher. There are many available out there.
