I discovered these three key points in understanding myself and wanted to share them with you all.

Do you ever feel like you are carrying the world on your shoulders? Are you feeling weighed down by emotions that you are not totally sure of but know you want to be freed from?

A few years ago, I was carrying the world on my shoulders. I felt like I was being smothered by the anger I was carrying inside. I was drowning in quicksand and couldn’t reach the surface. All I knew is that I wanted something better but had no idea how to get it.

While doing a Psychic Development class one day my teacher asked, why are you carrying this burden?

I honestly had no idea, and he offered the simplest advice ever – Just put it down.

WHAT???

What do you mean put it down? How on earth can I do that? Wouldn’t that be the most natural thing to do – release the burden that is weighing us down. We carry these things around with us without truly understanding the damage we are doing to ourselves. Emotionally, mentally and physically these burdens are wearing us down, creating depression, activating our anxiety and giving us health conditions that reoccur and are hard to diagnose.

The First Key – Acknowledgement

The hardest key has to be acknowledging the symptoms as this becomes the first step forward. Then you must decide to do something about it. This is the hard part. You want to change and let this baggage go but you have no idea where to start or how to do it.

Thus began my search for Spiritual Healing, self-development and the search for answers? Why? Why am I feeling like this? What happened to make me feel this way? How can I get rid of these feelings? Where do I go to get help?

Knowing that you have the problem is not enough you need to find the root cause of it and find a way to let it go. The biggest challenge I had was who can I trust to help me with these problems?

Searching for Answers

I consulted doctors. Although I found that they couldn’t help or even identify the symptoms I had, let alone find a reason for them. I also worked with a Psychiatrist to see if they could help me understand what was going on. This caused more problems for me then when I started. From their perspective, I had bigger problems than I understood, and I was apparently in denial, (I didn’t think what I had been through was that bad because I could always find someone else that was worse off than I was) and it freaked both of us out a little. Next, I turned to Hypnosis for past life regression and this caused me more drama as it raised problems looking back as I had suppressed a lot of my childhood traumas and my body went into shock.

Discovering Spiritual Churches and learning about Reiki healing helped me immensely. I found this so helpful and I was fascinated with it, so I went on to learn all about it. This completely changed my understanding of life. Accepting things that we go through in this lifetime and other lifetimes can affect our emotional responses to ourselves and others.

Other options I tried included Kinesiology, naturopathy, soul-healing, crystal healing and soul surgery. They all helped me a lot but never really got to the core issue of the problems I was carrying with me.

My true understanding of what they were, what really happened and Why – these were the answers that I was seeking everywhere.

The Second Key – Understanding

This key was the most confronting because some of the treatments I had would treat the symptoms and make me feel better, but they never released the burdens and they would re-present themselves in new illnesses and new emotional problems often. All because I never honestly dealt with the true cause of the issues or understood why.

Still wanting to learn more, I started reading books on Psychic Development and went to more classes to learn how to find these answers. I started meditating and asking questions. Connecting with my guides and wanting answers, there was still no real comprehension.

Finally, I went back to the basics and started journaling out my feelings. Finding out where the anger and resentment were coming from. Discovering the root cause of the feelings deep inside of me and truly coming to terms with the situations that caused the feelings.

The Third Key – Forgiveness

The most powerful key, once I understood where they came from and why – I was compelled to forgive these events. I finally understood what I chose to learn from each situation and why. Forgiving myself for going through it – learning it in this way. I forgave the people that taught me these lessons that I asked for. And then, I released it all.

How invigorating! Releasing the trauma of the past so I could truly move forward. Letting it all go and truly finding the lessons involved gave me more power over myself than anything else and this also led me to discover the true inner me.

Embracing all the lessons I learned. Creating daily affirmations to tell myself of how wonderful I am. Finding and embracing all the strengths and great qualities I never knew I had inside. I accepted that I do actually LOVE myself and LIKE the person I am inside and out.

By turning the key, I found my true inner self. I rock. I am super proud of what I have accomplished in my life. I am excited to be so in line with my belief’s and my true purpose. I have an amazing connection with my Spirit Team from releasing all the baggage and I live my life on my own terms. I am powerful. I create magic. I am ME!

Next Phase of the Journey – Sharing the Key Points

Throughout this whole journey, I found some magical tips on how to truly get to the root cause of all the emotional baggage in my life. I have passed on some of these tips to others already and found they had great success in creating better self-worth and increasing their self-esteem.

Wanting to find out more and learn more techniques, I read some more, joined some Facebook groups to learn more, journaled more and got in contact with my higher-self and true purpose in life.

I discovered that I wanted to help more people go through this process with much less ease than I was able to. My goal is to share it with the masses.
